Friday Flats was an Estonian startup that fermented side by side with AirBnb. It was bought in 2016 by Forenom Oy with an intention to widen the perspective from it’s core-business, B2B-accomodation.

To get the Ruby-based software to do the trick was actually quite a large task. Several aspects of the old code had outdated, and many actual bugs had to be repaired. Besides repairing the codebase, a lot of effort was invested on integrations to external and internal services.
Besides serving as an additional sales channel, Friday Flats now makes listing and renting out private properties easy – a task that used to be an excessive operation.
